If you are looking for an alternative to MetaGer, you probably want fewer ads, less tracking, and a page that gets out of your way. Bare is built for exactly that.
MetaGer is a German non-profit metasearch engine that blends several sources and donates ad revenue to charitable causes. It is transparent and privacy-respecting, with a busier, feature-heavy page.
