Mojeek and Bare are both built for people who want more from search than the mainstream offers. Here is a straight look at how they differ.
Mojeek is a rare thing: a search engine with its own independent crawler and index, not reselling Bing or Google. It is privacy-respecting and refreshingly independent, though its index is smaller.

the verdict
Pick Mojeek if a fully independent index is your priority and you can live with a smaller one. Pick Bare for a barer page and a quick fact when it is confident.
Try Bare in one search
The fastest way to decide is to run a real search. Bare gives you plain links and a single quick fact when it is confident, with no account, no history, and no profile, and your query reaches the index through our server rather than straight from your device.
