If you are looking for an alternative to Mojeek, you probably want fewer ads, less tracking, and a page that gets out of your way. Bare is built for exactly that.
Mojeek is a rare thing: a search engine with its own independent crawler and index, not reselling Bing or Google. It is privacy-respecting and refreshingly independent, though its index is smaller.

Pick Mojeek if a fully independent index is your priority and you can live with a smaller one. Pick Bare for a barer page and a quick fact when it is confident.
Switching takes one search
You do not need an account, an extension, or a setup wizard to try Bare instead of Mojeek. Run a real search and see plain links, with no history, no profile, and no AI answer on top. If it fits, you can make Bare your default in a couple of taps.
